Pre-test Information

  1. After successful registration, candidates must print their admission ticket on the exam website approximately 5 days before the exam date.

  2. On the day of the exam, candidates must bring the admission ticket and a valid, government-issued photo ID that matches the registration information (photocopies are not accepted).

  3. Candidates are prohibited from bringing the following items on the exam day: paper, pens, mobile phones, smartwatches, recording devices, cameras, dictionaries, MP3 players, pagers, laptops, notebooks, textbooks, and any other items unrelated to the exam. Personal items must be placed in the designated storage area as directed by the chief examiner and cannot be carried into the exam room. Valuables should not be brought to the exam venue, as the organizers are not responsible for any losses.

  4. Candidates should arrive at the exam venue half an hour before the start of the exam to avoid being late. Once inside the exam venue, candidates are not allowed to leave until the listening test is completed.

  5. Latecomers may enter the exam room before the start of the listening test; those arriving after the listening test has begun must wait until it concludes before entering for the reading test, and no additional time will be given for the delay. Once the reading test has started, latecomers are not allowed to enter the exam room.

  6. Upon entering the exam room, candidates must place their admission ticket and ID on the left front corner of the desk for inspection by the chief and invigilators at any time.

  7. Candidates who cannot provide the required documents and admission ticket upon entry will not be allowed to take the exam, and exam fees will not be refunded.

  8. Exam Room Rules:

    (1) Candidates must sit in the designated seats and have no right to choose their seats.

    (2) Candidates must follow the instructions of the chief examiner, adhere to exam rules, and independently complete each section of the exam.

    (3) There are no breaks during the exam. In case of special circumstances requiring a candidate to leave the room, they must obtain permission from the chief examiner, hand over their admission ticket and ID to the invigilator before leaving, and retrieve them upon returning.

  9. Emergency Situations:

    (1) If a candidate experiences unfair treatment due to exam room management errors, such as insufficient exam time, damaged exam papers, or faulty equipment, resulting in the inability to complete the exam, Heyni Test Centre will promptly arrange for the candidate to retake the exam free of charge, without assuming any indirect loss compensation. The exam venue cannot be changed.

    (2) In case of unpredictable eventuality, such as natural disasters or accidents, that prevent the exam from taking place, Heyni Test Centre will promptly arrange a retest or provide a full refund of the exam fee, without assuming any indirect loss compensation.

  10. If a candidate fails to take the exam on the scheduled day for reasons not attributable to the exam organizer, the exam fee will not be refunded.

  11. During the exam, if a candidate engages in cheating, impersonation, plagiarism, or disobedience to examiners' instructions, their exam results will be invalidated.

  12. Exam Results and Score Reports:

    (1) Two weeks after the conclusion of the online exam, candidates can log in to the Chinese Proficiency Test Service website and enter their admission ticket number and name to check their scores.

    (2) After the announcement of exam results, candidates can apply online for diagnostic analysis and score report mailing services at the specified address.
